How many children do married female MPs have?

Female MPs in Singapore only make up nearly a quarter of the elected seats. It’s not easy being a woman in politics, having to grapple with stereotypes of being too soft for power, scrutiny over physical attributes and many other issues. It’s even tougher for mothers in politics as women are still expected to be the main caregivers for their children.


How difficult is it for a woman to be an MP and have children at the same time? Well, quite a number of female MPs can handle it. Here’s a list of the current 17 female MPs in Parliament who have children and the number of children they have.
